The Canton Fair is divided by product category across multiple phases. Confirm the official category schedule for your session before booking travel; adjacent halls can still require long walking time.
Build a decision sheet
Prepare target specification, quantity, compliance needs, price range and questions in a consistent comparison form. Booth conversations blur quickly without a structured record.
Scan, photograph, annotate
Capture booth number, company name, product model and contact together. Ask permission before detailed photography. Record whether the booth represents a factory, trading company or group.
Do not place a large order at the booth
The fair is efficient for discovery, not due diligence. Follow up with company verification, samples, references and—where risk warrants—an on-site audit.
Use the surrounding clusters
A Guangzhou trip can combine the fair with packaging suppliers, Foshan furniture and building materials, Shenzhen electronics or Dongguan factory visits.
